Happy birthday Nazreen Bahnu d/o Lyakkathaly! It's the start of a long week. As I walked into the hr office of seletar camp, I saw a familiar guy sitting at a corner - pierre png. Later in the day when he came over to my area to read newspapers, my officer could actually told him how bad some actresses were in their acting skills, one of them being zoe tay! Please! My goodness. She was my favourite. If you are so good in criticising what is not meant to be criticised, please go ahead and act in mediacorps, and not act 'yaya' in the camp.
Hehe, pierre png could actually defend zoe tay by saying she's good, but that bloody officer kept insisting she isn't.
What an eyesore. Sucks and irks!
The whole of today just isn't good. My sleeping pill that I took yesterday, extra strong this time due to a change of pills by my doctor, left me feeling even more sleepy the whole day. I felt like having a hangover due to over consumption of alcoholic drinks. No more that pills for me.
What else to look forward to in the near future? My annual leave, christmas, new year. Nothing else. I yearn to fly so much! But I couldn't. Read a friend's blog, how wonderful it would be if I got the chance to visit two countries at one go - L.A. and Tokyo! But of course, she's a flight attendant. I shall keep fantasising I'm on holiday, hoping this one day will come soon. I know it will.

Got home at 2am, fortunately not having to stay overnight outside. A G.E.T. outing? Not completely counted because wc was still stuck in the camp, so unable to make it, and sc - the spoiler for having to go home at ten pm (joking =p).
We went vivo city, which is always packed full of people, before heading for east coast park. Finally got to refresh my otherwise rusty driving skills with the hyundai getz. Hope I did not frighten the rest of you.
The caterer for our barbeque came at about half past five, and after collecting our foodstuff, my realised the man did not give us wire gauze and fire starters. So we called him up, and took from him at carpark c4.
Starting the fire; I thought we would be doomed without wc. But armed with my's printed "mi jue" -
or secret, on the techniques of starting the fire, we managed to did it fast! My first time starting a fire burning haha.
We BBQed away, and our pit no. D36 was such a good spot, with a couple sitting right in front on the beach carrassing each other and kissing away like nobody's business, from daylight till dark, almost 3 hours... Sc and I walked to the front and acted, sitting down near them on the beach. What a busybody we were.
Sh and my picked the forever 'late to knock off' nb from suntec city, so we waited for her to come as if we were waiting for money to fall from the sky.
We presented our lovely brownie cake for the 'soon-to-be' birthday girl, thereafter smashing our "flour + eggs" formula onto nb.
While my and nb stayed behind, sh and I sent sc home, before returning to ecp to pick them up. As we chatted in the car, I came to accept the fact that each and everyone faces one problem or another. It's among many to choose from: family, relationship, work... None can be avoided.
We drove to cineleisure wanted to watch Saw 3, but nb and sh were not allowed for R21 shows. The timings for other movies were too late to our liking.
Without much to do, we drove to our usual nightspot - macritchie reservoir, hoping to 'liak gao,' but without luck.
It was then home sweet home, where I bathed and slept at 4am. Again, I can't manage to sleep well. Perhaps I should change both my mattress and pillows.
Now, it's napping time. zzZ.....

This week is closing fast, more so because I am on medical leave from wednesday to friday, a break from the monotonous routine of life.
So alone I went shopping yesterday, from ikea to vivo city, to marina square, suntec city and took a break at funan centre. Had dinner at sakae sushi with sis, and thereafter we headed for plaza singapura where she wanted to buy a pair of boots.
I returned home feeling exhausted, but as I laid on the bed, I can't get to fall asleep. I watched the clock; it was two in the morning, then six. Restless.
Went for a swim with ken this afternoon. The weather was great, and I had a great tan! Totally lobster-look by now. We made our way to east coast park for my meditation before calling it a day.
Tomorrow is our G.E.T. outing, am really looking forward to it. But I hope I can try to keep myself awake into the wee hours of the night. I shall sleep past noon.

The week's coming to a close. Had a great day out on friday after work, alone in orchard, walking down to plaza singapura. Perhaps some time alone is great, and I am growing to like it. But of course, I do not wish to labelled as a loner, because doing so is what other people will perceive.
Went bicycling with ken the day before in the evening, and east coast park was packed full of people.
Today is a lazy sunday.
Come Monday I hope it will be a good start to the week.
Looking forward to Friday's bbq session with G.E.T. team. I hope I do not doze off due to tireness. And on that day I can, at least, stop taking my sleeping pills for a day, as what nb said. In anyway, the pills are no longer effective for me.
I feel tired, I want to sleep;
When I lie on the bed, I can't sleep.
In total frustration.

Weekend is soon over.
The day before I had dinner with nb and her sister at ramen ten before watching step up at cineleisure. Got home slightly past midnight. Almost dozed off on the train.
This morning met up with kh as we had a day out on sentosa. It rained the whole day, making our walking difficult. Left the island at half past five.
