Met up with my and sh for two movies - the first being The Queen at 5pm and Stranger than Fiction at 7.30pm.

Nice Queen movie - "Tradition prepared Her; Change will define Her.

Tony Blair (above)? He looked like a nerd.

Stranger than Fiction was my selection. As usual, it turned out to be a bad movie. The three of us were practically grieving away, and sh said she and my will bash me up as soon as the movie ends. I was so worried. So scared. But luckily they did not. If it was really a bad movie to sh, why didn't she sleep during the show?

She did sleep and snored while watching The Queen. Doesn't that show this movie was even more dreadful for her, and yet she did not complain? This is so unfair. Oh my God.

I reached home at about 10pm plus. Mum called me asking whether big sis was in bangkok because it was being bombarded. Lol. I tricked her and her eyes turned watery. Lol. Later she called big sis up and found out she was in phuket.

Happy 2007!

My resolution for new year is always the same.

- More money

- More fun

- Less troubles

- Fuck my country away

Went to watch borat with arnold earlier at somerset. The show was so hilarious. So politically-sensitive. Prior to that shopped awhile at the paragon. Many shops are on sale. But I got no money to buy.

It's going to be a new year soon. Same bad year ahead perhaps. I think even lousier because of less travelling for having to serve this shitty piece of land. I want back my freedom. I so hope to emigrate but I have NO MONEY, NO QUALIFICATIONS!!! I am at loggerheads with my officer now. I am not afraid of being punished. If so, I shall fight for my rights.

Gonna watch the Queen and Stranger than Fiction with my and sh tomorrow. Hope the movies will be nice.

Shall be home early; do not feel like going anywhere.

Going back to camp next wednesday. I am getting moody. Still unprepared to get over my holiday mood.

Came back from genting the night before. It was super crowded with endless flow of tourists. I'd have stayed home instead. Today I am supposed to meet up with my hong kong kakis, but I felt sick and lethargic, so decided to stay home instead. Slept till 6pm.

26 December 2006 - Was feeling so sick, diarrhoea, headache, shivering. Nevertheless, took an eight hour coach ride up to the mountains. Coach left from tampines. Thought would go direct to checkpoint. Yet it stopped over at golden mile complex to pick up more pax. Felt like complaining, because we weren't informed. We could have boarded from golden mile complex at a later time instead of having to make a detour. Slept for the whole duration of the journey, not even bothering to watch any movie. The kids on the coach were so noisy. Felt like slapping their chatterbox mouths. Rained. Anyway, I saw Sazali (ex Airebus coach driver). It was not until he said 'hi' to me that I noticed him. Glad to know he's now doing well in another coach company, PMK.

Mum and I watched a magical performance with live tigers at First World Hotel; the whole story based on ancient time egypt. We got to watch for free, because mum was a genting member.

Funny though; I entered the casino, out of 5 times, the police requested to check my identity on 4 occasions. Don't I look like 21? Maybe it's my height that caused the fault, or maybe I just look like 18 years old, young and decent. Haha. But whatever it is, I buy the latter.

The casino is so full of people. Squeezing into the gambling table is difficult. The cigar smoke was fuming into the air. Everywhere. Till my whole body smelled.

Blurred images of the casino taken from my mobile phone.

First World Hotel - it's a pathetic small room, but the hotel is in good location. My pale-looking face.

27 December 2006 - Slept for almost 13 hours. I watched eragon, about the dragon rider, at the cineplex at First World Hotel. Nice movie. Nice solo. Nice price at MYR11.00. Did some shopping; bought hair gel, a tee-shirt and contact lens solution. Had dinner at a Chinese restaurant - Genting Palace - with it's signature dish, fried toufu, on our table.

Look not my mum's expressionless face, but the hoardes of tourists behind. An Indian man was just standing to my mum's left taking the same picture. Super crowded!

Misty clouds.

The garden is still the best place to be.

Dishes that looked cold and leftovers, but it's nice haha.

My officer kept calling while I was in Malaysia. I kept rejecting the calls. To the point that I cannot stand and sent a message as follows:

"Please call me after my leave ends with regards to work. I am now in Malaysia. Otherwise, you may leave a message and I will reply when I am back. Thank you."

28 December 2006 - Gone to the gymnasium for a great run and work out. The treadmill faces the mountains. Fantastic. Good price at MYR15.00 too. Checked out. Lunch. Waited for coach. Car sick. Vomitted. Shiok.

Mum and I in the gardens. Lol. Waiting for coach.

Our coach home.

Nice, almost adjustible fully-flat seats. But not a good choice. I got so giddy.

With a lounge on the lower deck.

Airebus Sdn. Bhd. (my ex-company), are you losing out?

Nothing much to do today. Christmas day and I'm at home!

Caught a good show the day before - a night at the museum, where exhibits at this museum of natural history came alive at night. If I were the guard person, I would surely freak out.

Prior to the movie, nb and I had dinner at Siam Kitchen. Had pineapple rice, green chicken curry, mango salad, sambal kangkong, seafood tom yum and thai iced tea.

Then we exchanged christmas present - thanks for the espirit eau de toilette.

Reached home just minutes past midnight.

Finally I had a good sleep, from 3am to 1.15pm. Ten hours in total, happy!

Going to Genting Highlands tomorrow, and will be back on thursday.

Then it will be a movie meet-up with my Hong Kong 'kakee' on friday, followed by movie marathon on new year's eve.

I'm broke for the month.

Had a great time out in town the day before. Met up with my, nb and sh for a buffet dinner at suki in somerset. Costs 30 bucks nett. Got to hear interesting stories about ms izzy and some other bloggers like xiaxue from my and sh. So funny.

Why the sulky face? I know it's expensive! But once in a blue moon ok?

My said this (sauced octopus) looks like menses.

Sh, why the reluctant look?

Sh changed to a sexy post when initiating a conversation with a guy friend seated beside us.

As usual, the forever blur my booked a movie at the wrong location - The Cathay. Was supposed to catch the Curse of the Golden Flower at Orchard instead. I remembered her entering the wrong details when making flight booking online the last time we went bangkok. I wonder what blunder will she make the next time. Perhaps geting married to the wrong guy next door. Who knows? Since she's capable of doing so.

"Kim huay," as what my gave a second name to the movie Golden Flower, was nice to my liking. Because there was Gong Li in the show, and I loved her! Getting old, but still has her elegance.

A break at MOS burger in between movies

Omg she's so pretty!

Berries on my's head? Ten thousand years of lives Her Majesty.

After kim huay, we watched the Holiday, sponsored by nb on getting her bonus. I thought it would be a boring show, but it is another good show by kate winslet. She's getting plump! My suggested she should have sex with a guy first before getting to know him, as what the movie depicted.

We concluded our day at 3am plus, and each returned home by taxi.

Gonna watch a Night at the Museum later with nb, and I hope it isn't going to be bad. As usual, whenever both of us go for a movie, the movie surely turns out to be yucky.

Had a good time blading this afternoon, under scorching hot sun for an hour. Had a great tan on the beach after that, unprepared for it and having to return home with sands sprinkling from my pants everywhere.

Met up with erwin at orchard, window shopped for awhile before having dinner at wisma atria. It was still early, so paid a visit to his house in amk, as well as his sickening cat which I felt, ought to be mutated. It was an ugly tiger cat! Cats make me sick, and now I'm down with runny nose, probably because of their fur.

Returned to town where I gone home with mum. An impending sore throat. I hate it. Hope it will be over before christmas.

Friday, December 15, 2006

Earlier I went Changi General Hospital for dermatological check. Doctor said my skin problem was caused by sun tanning. Obviously, I can't tan anymore. So I am disappointed.

I met up with chris at orchard. He was on half-day leave. Can't believe he single-handedly designed the storefront display of the Vertu store in Paragon.

More excitement awaited me as I returned home.

Sis' back from Chiang Mai. And here comes along my gifts from the Land of Smiles. Got two of my requests fulfilled:-

1. A Polo Ralph Lauren deodorant; and

2. A brand new Guy Laroche wallet.

Gonna change my present GL wallet into the new one with effect from 2007. I bought it from Chiang Mai as well. It's genuine, selling at a good price.

And a third one.

Sis' implying something by buying me a shirt with the imprints?

Ahuh, perhaps I does play well with others, selected peeps only.

It was raining for the whole day, but rain will never put me at bay. I went to town despite water splattering onto my whole body, and an oncoming vehicle almost making me drenched.

Gone is my ipod nano earlier this afternoon. I thought the service centre at funan could help me get the repair done and return it to me on the same day, but was told to wait for a week or so.

Shopped alone from raffles city, marina square to suntec city. Popped by at New York Metropolitan of Arts Museum. Nice arts. 'Nice' price as well. Left home with two stuff in my bag as christmas gifts.

How I hoped to skate in ecp in the evening, but the road is wet. My hope is dashed. I do not want to fall and get bruises and scars all over.

Less than two weeks to christmas. Less than three weeks to 2007.

Rounding! Yes, we rented a car and went for rounding. Met up with ken first, collected the car from IMM before picking up wc at aljunied. Costs only fifty bucks.

Just as ken was driving out of the carpark, he almost knocked onto a pedestrian. Got a big fuck shock. So I took the wheels, and later we went ecp where he familiarised himself with his almost rusty driving skills.

We drove to vivocity, the crowds were still apparent. Had my late lunch before we headed to mount faber and ecp.

I called shaf to join us, and she happened to be in ecp. We picked her up and landed ourselves in the newly-opened national museum. The architectural design is nice, but not so nice compared to other monuments I have seen in countries like turkey. Nothing much to see though.

I met up with john for a chat in eunos before being picked up again.

After shaf and wc left, ken and I went bukit timah for supper. Had roti prata; before we went changi general hospital's A&E as I wanted to see doctor, because of my skin problem that itched me uncomfortably. *Not that I am unhygienic, perhaps over hygienic as what mum said. Such that I bathed immediately after sweating profusely, resulting in the development of white spots.*

At the end of everything, doctor mr nice gave me three days of mc till friday. I sent a message to my lady officer - the old lady as I shall address here, about it.

This morning that small fucking old lady could call and ask why I never inform her. I told her I have sent her a message, but she said she did not receive. What's the big deal? You're just a fucking old lady, can't even speak or write proper english and need my kindest help every moment, yet drawing taxpayers' monies of over 3k per month as salary. If I can't tolerate you this small fuck one day, I shall perhaps knock on the door of my big boss.

The old lady kept complaining to me "why her co-workers got to work in new office, got new desk and chair, but she was being transferred to the front office using an old desk." Now you know why? Because you're soon gonna be retrenched if you do not care to upgrade yourself. And stop downgrading yourself by gossiping less, and saying less of those cold jokes which your co-workers and I cannot stand.

Fancy her complaining to an officer about the 'old desk' matter and requested for a bigger and new table. For goodness' sake, the front office is already cramped. Don't you have the slightest pea-size brain to regard it as totally blocking the way? Luckily her complains have been fallen on deaf ears, as my officer replied bluntly: "I do not know. I'm not the one who made the arrangement for you." I can't help grinning from ear to ear.

& stop acting bossy when you do not even have the qualifications to do so.

Sigh, finally let out my grievances. Kimochi.

I guess I am suck at saving money. Guess what? I just booked a flight on Tiger Airways to Macau for next year in September. It's still far ahead, but the price was irresistible! For a round trip, it costs me only 163 bucks, inclusive of all taxes. Mum and sis are going as well.

But the only worry is whether I'll be able to clear my annual leave during that period, from 25 September to 01 October 2007.

No matter what, I have done my calculations. If worse comes to worst, I will change the travel dates, and top up the price differences. Normal selling price is double, so it's worth taking the risk. Haha.

Oh my, I declare bankrupt in my bank account for the time being.

I wonder when I will ever be rich if I continue this way.

I'm crazy for the past few days.

On fri I went to the gym and ran 5km.

On sat (yesterday), I went ecp for inline skating. Over 40km for 3 hours non-stop.

Today, I went ecp for skating again. 1 hour plus non-stop. But I ate laksa thereafter immediately, and felt so lethargic.

In the night, I can't fall asleep. Still feeling a burning sensation in my heart. I'm weak. So weak. All those sleeping pills are making me weaker. Yet I can't forsake.

On fri, met some obstacles at work in the camp over some admin lapse. I know it's not my fault, so I will never give in, or give the impression that I was in the wrong, to that Lieutenant who insisted his rights. I still remember saying to him "if you say it is urgent, you must make known to me how urgent. If not I will handle the matter in the conventional sense of urgency in SAF." I am glad a lady officer, Garen, argued on my behalf. From then on, she will be my role model. Being extraordinary vocal. It was a heated debate. And I enjoyed the show.

Lieutenant requested for my time. I said 'it's my break time now, will settle later.' He said he only wanted 'a few minutes of my time for a private talk.'

Few minutes? Ok. 'Do not get offended, I am not here to arrow you or whatever.' And then on, he continued talking in a way that he is not in the wrong and making me feeling guilty. No I won't.

All of these problems exempted me from performing area-cleaning. I am so glad. Fall out early at three plus. On the way home, I suddenly remembered that I ought to wait for the postman to come. This time there will surely be admin lapse. And it is my fault. I will accept it gracefully. Come tomorrow, it's my double D-Day. 1st D for Depression and 2nd D for die! Lol.

I chatted with ylla earlier. She told me she committed the most "zek ark" (or cruel) thing in her life, to a passenger who has bought coach tickets from her coach company (or my previous company). Meals are served on board the coach, and will passengers ever know what the staff did to their meals behind the scene?

Read the following conversations below (without her objection to publication):-

It's december! How I wish for winter, but no, more rain instead.

Was making my way home, but stopover at tampines for a quick shop. I ended purchasing a coach package to genting highlands the day after christmas for two nights, and two pairs of coloured contact lenses for a whopping 57 bucks only!

I thought I would be stuck at home for my one week of annual leave on the last week of this month. Now even a short trip to malaysia seems so enticing. And my annual leave seems so precious. Looking forward to 2008, argh! It's still faraway.

This afternoon was at camp. It came a new lieutenant from my previous unit (chemicals defence group), dropping by at my office for some issues. While ww and I were at the e-mart (where you can buy uniforms etc), we met him again, and he told us to buy anything we want because his credit was loaded! I almost wanted to grab myself a pair of running shoes (even though I had two pairs), but ww just stood there and gave a smile. In the end, I gave a smile, and got myself nothing. Lol.

Lieutenant drove both of us on his camry back to our office, even though it takes us less than 3 minutes to walk, and him having to make a detour.

Why is it that good officer comes right after I left my previous unit?

Damn it on area cleaning tomorrow! I guess I will have to don a face mask to reduce the possibility of me ending up with a running nose. Yes, my immune system is that weak.

Saturday, December 02, 2006

Yesterday was a slack day at camp. Went for health screening, shocked to hear that my body fat mass was 23.8 when the acceptable range was below 20.

Went to meet nb at marina square. Supposed to meet at 6pm, I arrived 15 mins late and thought I was seriously late, but the super late gal arrived 45 mins late, still stuck in her beloved office.

Had dinner at swensen's, as per normal, black pepper seafood pasta, before having ice cream at ny.d.c. The tiramisu mudpie doesn't taste that good to me, but 'insatiable' was really fantastic! Treat was on nb's house, since she has yet to treat me on her birthday. Haha.

We watched happy feet at eng wah; since the start of the movie, I've been counting down to the end of the movie because it just sucked!

Wanted to take taxi home, but I was lucky enough since bus no. 14 came immediately when I reached the bus stop. Saved on my pennies for dinner tonight.
