Cycled at east coast park on saturday morning with ken.
Returned home for lunch. Still on porridge. So sick.
Went shopping at bugis with vc before leaving for my jap lang class in orchard. Getting more confused. A mini test on hiragana. Simple.
Prior to class I had only a piece of carrot cake bought from 7-eleven, and a packet of soya bean milk. That was my dinner.
Met up with vc again to watch pirates of the caribbean at tampines mall. So-so only lah. Maybe I was too sleepy. Caught a few winks during the show.
Reached home past 1am.
Monday blue is impending. Fuck away monday!
Even though public holiday - vesak day - is on thursday and I'm taking off on friday, they don't seem to be able to excite me.

Today I'm on mc again. Mc King? But heck. Since I am just serving my nation without getting paid a salary, just allowance that I can barely survive with it. No appraisals at the end of it. Sometimes I ask myself why should I work hard? I hate that slogging nature in me.
Still deciding whether or not to go east coast park to cycle. But the sun is so hot. And my tongue pains me like hell. Can hardly swallow. Each time I swallow, my tongue shifts back and will naturally be pierced by the metal on my tooth. Just like a knife slicing through perpertually.
I can only blame myself for all these. And blame my imperfect set of fucking tooths.
Tomorrow have to travel to nee soon camp to work. Super idiotic far. 2 hours to reach and settle down at my workplace.

It's only tuesday. Still got wed, thu and fri to go. And worse, I thought it was wed today.
Last saturday had my very first japanese language class at bunka school in orchard from 6-9pm. Kyooshi Nakamura sensei was so pretty, like a japanese tv actress, if not for a porn star. Unfortunately she mumbles to herself alot of times and speaks so softly that I could hardly decipher what she's talking.
Last sunday had a swim with vic at queenstown. A torturous swim because water seeped into my mouth, perpetually, that could hardly seal up. Thereafter had 'cheng tng' dessert at Tanglin Halt.
Went chinatown for shopping lol. As though we were oldies. Anyway since there is a coffee house selling quite good porridge to suit my appetite after bracing. But somehow I don't find the porridge that nice, because it isn't soft enough.
Following that I was dropped off at grandma's place for her birthday dinner. So many children. I almost fainted. Dislike those toys crankling and screeching noises of children.
Reached home at 10 plus. I slept after bathing.

Had dental appointment this morning. Removed separators, now fixed with a brace for upper jaw. Weird feeling. Upper jaw and lower jaw can't meet now. Idiotic sharp metal ends keep poking onto my lips. Soon there will be ulcers.
Hope 3 years will come in a slow blink of eyes.
Gonna have white porridge soon. Yesterday I cooked white porridge till almost 'chao tah' like last time. Forgot to add water.

Today was a nightmare. Actually since the day before. Realised there aren't any seats on train to K.L. available on the night of 30th this month. And I've booked a hotel at genting, fully paid.
Coach to K.L. and genting were full as well.
I left home as early as 7am to J.B. via kranji in the hope that I can get train tickets. In the end only got one way tickets back from K.L. to Singapore by train on the night of 1st of June. Luckily I managed to get 3 coach tickets from J.B. to genting. No choice have to go with the hassle of boarding coach from J.B.
Last minute booking is always a scare.
Fortunately I am resourceful enough in the area of travel. Haha! Arrogant?
Going with granny and mum.
And oh, I bumped into Mui Tong at Tanah Merah while on my way to Kranji. She's on her way to NYP for lesson. So at least I've got a companion for a good portion of my mrt trip.
By the way, today I am on MC.
After returning from J.B. to Bedok at 10.30am, I had a hot hotcakes at MacDonald's. I have been yearning for it for months.
Ok gonna bathe and out with vic.

Happy mother's day!
Yesterday was mobilisation, so had to report to camp for work. 10 over hours of work yet boss only awarded us 1 day off. Fucking stingy. Next mobilisation I'm gonna take mc for sure.
Fortunately there was a major who dropped me off at simei, so I only had to take a 1-stop train home. Home by midnight.
Today watched summer palace with jv at cineleisure and returned home immediately after that.
Mum's home early and cooked dinner. I could chew better now.
Work again tomorrow.
To compensate for my loss (1 day off only), I shall throw an mc this coming wednesday. If not I'm not Melvin.

Had a freaking bad toothache due to the separators. More intense pain with each passing day. Maybe because I'm already 22 years old? Followed by headache, eye pain and neck ache.
Took 45 minutes to finish a bowl of fish rice soup in between customer service training at defence tech tower.
The trainer was an ex-air stewardess. Quite pretty, even though she's in her late 30's or early 40's. She taught that when customers are angry and scolded us over the phone, we should just empathise with them by saying for example: "You must be really upset about this... (in a soft tone)." And if the customer still continue scolding, again empathise by saying perhaps "I know you must have felt very frustrated..." in a soft tone, and then pause WITHOUT ever offering any solution if we don't have any of it. In any way the angry caller would like someone to hear their grievances and once they feel we can empathise with them they will eventually stop.
Don't know how powerful the above technique is. If customer curse and swear using the four-letter words, we must remain calm by saying: "I understand how upset you are; if you continue to use this language I am unable to help you. Please allow me to help you sir... (in a soft tone)."
I remembered my airebus days where there was a customer scolding "FUCK YOU" right on my face in front of the guests in hotel asia. I could rebutt by saying very rudely: "SIR PLEASE WATCH WHAT YOU ARE SAYING! I CAN BRING WHAT YOU SAID TO COURT! THIS IS SINGAPORE!" Lol. In any way the passenger was taken aback and later apologised to me. Haha. But looking back I think my service was a sucky one, dependable on my mood.
Some customers like to try their luck, hoping we can bend the rules and accommodate their requests (i.e. if 2 pax with 2 tickets want to bring along their 9 mth old son, in a situation where even infant requires a ticket). If the company policy strictly does not allow, we should try our best not to tell customers that: "Sorry sir/mdm, it is our Company Policy."
Instead we should say: "Sir/mdm, I'm afraid two tickets, two persons. I hope you understand" If they continue pushing, repeat the same sentence. They'll eventually back off. If they request to speak to higher authority, then as a cso we must say: "Certainly sir/mdm, I am the customer service officer
, may have your name and contact number? I will refer you to the higher authority and we will get back to you within <3> working day(s)."
Never say "sorry" if it is not your fault.
Had a really fun workshop today. Perhaps airebus should arrange to send ylla for such workshops if not... haha! My also, especially. LOL.
After training had dinner at ding tai fong with jv. Spent an hour to finish my fried rice. I shall get mc on monday or wednesday.
Still have to work either tomorrow or sunday for 12 hours. Chee bye!Labels: Workshop

Today's my very first big step towards a straighter set of teeth, hopefully, for 3 years down the road.
My orthodontist from national dental centre inserted separators in between my teeth so as to make space for bands later on before fixing braces. Tooth extractions will be done at a later date. Hopefully not so soon.
Mum cooks today as she is off from work. Once in a blue moon, so I had them taken. Got 'sheng yu,' prawns, squids, tonic soup, fried eggs, and 3 vegetables! As I eat I was thinking: "Die la, dunno must run how many clicks to shed off!"

Was down with sore throat and flu for the past 4 days. Yet cannot take mc cos of ISO auditing training. But quite fun, cos learnt about control of documents, records, quality processes and more. I did all work processes for my section. Cos my superiors (one old man and one old woman) are incompetent. Quite old already and do not know how to use complex powerpoint tools. And phrasing of sentences such that they are concise, instead of long and windy.
After work yesterday I had dinner with jv at a jap restaurant at taka basement. It was a belated birthday treat. Had my favourite smoked salmon as usual.
Watched Eternal Summer at cineleisure. It's about how a gay man fell in love with his str8 best friend, and there is this woman where both of whom had dated. This str8 friend is very used to having his gay best friend by his side, every hour and every minute. Till one day he had s*x with his gay friend on bed. Very complicated life. Quite sad. But nice storyline. R21 - Taiwanese.
Returned home and gobbled lemsip in the hope that it will cure my sore throat, blocked nose and blocked ears! Can't hear properly. So I talked loudly unknowingly.
This afternoon met up with vic. Had ala carte lunch at a jap restaurant as belated birthday treat again. We sat down and I was lazy to pick from the menu. He asked me why, and I replied "this is my third time having jap food in a week."
Later watched spiderman 3. Very draggy show. Unlike parts 1 and 2. Till I wanted to doze off.
We shopped at the new ikea, courts and giant in tampines following that.
Then had dinner at blk 18 bedok south market cos vic said its kangkong with cuttlefish is nice, as well as pomphret fish steamboat. Ordered pork ribs as well.
Reached home approaching 9 pm.
Tml mum is off! Don't know should I propose to go out. But I'm lazy to go out if I have to work the next day.
One more month to G.E.T. chalet. So excited!! It is the only thing I look forward to at the moment.Labels: Saturday

Sis brought me for dinner yesterday, at sakae sushi. Part of my birthday treat. But more to come, in red packet haha!
Mum's giving me a set of braces for my crooked teeth? See how. Scared pain.
Holy shit... Got a surprise this morning when I a saw a bouquet of tulips delivered to my house. My suitor lol! Jkjk.

Finally I worked out!! Ran 12 rounds nonstop in the stadium, returned home for a short rest, before swimming for 30 minutes nonstop. What an 'invigorating' excercise I had today. Took a nap back home.
Before nb came to my place and present me another birthday gift. This time a Spa Retreat voucher from The Retreat Spa and Thalasso Centre. It's in Changi Village Hotel. Will it be a transvestitie masseur? Check out this website -> http://www.theretreat.com.sg/OurSpas/About@CVH.htm
Gonna work tomorrow even though I'm sick. Can't take mc. Cos I have 1001 things to do.
'Happy' birthday to me.Labels: Personal
