Weekend is here again!
Met up with ted on Thurday night after my ndp duty.
Yesterday I had dental appointment with my orthodontist. My lower set of tooths are now on braces. It's another round of torture! As usual, my whole set of teeth feels like dropping off anytime! The feeling is so numb.
Next appointment on the 16 August 2007 will see my 4 tooths gone as I go for extractions. I asked the orthodontist how many days of MC usually? She said: "one day." I turned silent.
I returned to office and knocked off at 3.30pm. Vic picked me up and we headed for NTU-NIE bookstore as that fellow wanted to buy some curriculum design textbooks.
We had our dinner, fish head steamboat in Jurong, before heading for IMM for shopping. Went into Espirit outlet. Shirts were selling at much reduced prices. However, they were mass produced.
Reached home at 10pm.
Did my Japanese language homework before turning in.
To my horror, I dreamt of my braces dropping off. My tooths are all dislocated! I was so depressed to the point of not knowing what to do. I also dreamt of flight misconnection. My goodness for having such dreams.
Initially going for thalasso spa. However had to postpone as I was late and I need to make a trip to the bank. Next week.
Class tonight. Translation test, yet I know nothing but kimochi!!

Went joo chiat with vic intending to have oyster omelette but the stall was no longer there.
Got on our way to Marina Square for lunch at Cafe Cartel. Ate pork ribs, fish nuggets and salads.
Watched Fantastic Four at 3.05pm. But as usual in the case of GV, the movie only started 20 minutes later due to advertisements.
Last stop was Bugis. Again. To buy dumplings. Price had risen from $2.50 on Friday to $2.80 just on Sunday (yesterday).
Reached home and I napped after dinner to recharge myself.

Went for ndp duty at Marina Bay. A photographer for a PR workshop. Totally boh liao.
Supposed to go on vegetarian full day. When high tea was served, those selections of pastries made me salivate so much so that I forgot about it.
Ended my duty at 1.30pm and gone shopping at Marina Square and on to Apollo Centre. Reached there way earlier and vic just left home. But a travel store kept me busy with so many travel information leaflets. Initially wanted to have vegetarian lunch at Classic Lao Di Fang restaurant there but it was closed by then.
So we went to have it at Waterloo Street in Bugis; shopped at Bugis Junction before leaving home.
Intially I had made plan to go clubbing, but a fucking pimple on my nose kept me at bay. Why must it be on the nose and not somewhere else? Thanks to sh who just complimented that my complexion is getting better. Now popping up everywhere. Even a little below my belly button.
Tomorrow I shall go jogging at ecp. Too long didn't exercise and felt a little heavier. Then it's "nihongo-no-ressun" time. So fast it's gonna be my fifth lesson. Yet I learnt nothing. Still stuck with "kimochi" and "yamate." Hopeless me.
Sunday plan is to watch Fantastic Four. Still pending.

Went chalet with GETS team on friday night. Was so tired after having a long day at work. Went st. james powerhouse. Not so powerful after all. Paid 20 bucks for entry. Drank cranberry and orange juices. No alcohol for me. Scared of tummy growing and afraid of losing my sanity just like nb last time. Lol.
Returned to downtown east at 3am plus. Slept at around 4 am with fillet o fish still swimming in my stomach. Very uncomfortable.
Woke up at 9 am plus for swimming and suntanning. Had lunch at foodcourt before having a splashing good time at wild wild wet.
Rushed for class and found out my's hp was left in my bag. Thankfully dad drove me back to chalet. Returned home after that for a good retirement after an exhaustive day.

Tomorrow is only tuesday. Friday's G.E.T. chalet! Looking forward to the fun, yet not looking forward to the tireness and dirt.

View from room (so ass noisy)
3 days just whizzed past as I had my off from work. So fast...
Wed 30 May 2007
Dad dropped us at Woodlands Checkpoint; from there we took Causeway Link into J.B. Had a slight jam, nevertheless still able to reach City Square 2 hours later at 8 plus. Had dinner at Vivo City Square; grandma had baked fish spaghetti, mum and I shared chicken chop and chicken baked rice.
Our coach left at 11.3opm for First World Hotel.
Thu 31 May 2007
Deposited our bags at the concierge after getting queue number for check-in. Big Breakfast and hotcakes to fill our empty stomach. Fucking expensive. Totalled about 52 MYR.
Went Starworld Casino while waiting to get our room. As usual, I was subjected to age verification on every single entry I made into the casino. Perhaps due to my height? Occasionally I was almost being rejected because I looked different from my passport photo. Anyway, there is a signboard displaying the current hotel check-in queue no. being called. Alone I went to check out the spa facilities at Genting Hotel and to the park.
Slot machines (no photography allowed)
Me in the park with my stupid bracesGot our room (no. 15772) at 11am; I claimed all our belongings from the concierge and carried them all the way to the room while they were still soaking in the casino. For a split second I thought I had become a butler. I had a bath, rested my eyes for a few minutes before meeting them for lunch at midday. Our 3 plates of mixed vegetables rice with drinks cost a shocking 46 MYR.
I hate FWH (if not for its price and location)

I had a good nap till 4pm before heading to the M Spa at Genting Hotel. Paid 45 MYR per usage for unlimited hours. Anyway I used from 4.30pm till 7pm. Fantastic! Had a good sweat despite me not having to run. Soaked in the spa pool (hot and cold), sat in the sauna and steam room. Then laid on the beach chair to watch HBO and MTV. It reminded me of Ritz Carlton KL. It was the first time I did such a relaxing activity in Genting Highlands. Now that I discovered it, will go again.

Stole 5 toothbrush sets from the spa! For my braces' sake, and save on the hassles of buying every so often. Also stole a towel back to room, because we got 3 people, yet room only got 2 towels. Asked housekeeping for extra towel, they said "No." No means no lah, I won't complain much because First World Hotel is a cheap hotel. Cheap in terms of price and decency. Lol.
Had dinner at Causeway Bay Restaurant; ala carte 3 dishes of sweet and sour fish slices, kai lan and omelette with prawns and rice. Had my "yuen yang cha." Totalled about 80 MYR.

While they returned to their playground, I went shopping.
Fri 01 Jun 2007

NightMy new pair
Supper on food carriage before heading to bed (L5; no. 5, 9, 11)
On my berth (L5; no. 5)
Sat 02 Jun 2007
Reached Woodlands Checkpoint at 8am. Left for home by taxi from there.
And oh, I broke the handle of the window in my room while trying to close it. Too forceful and the window was too tight. Haha!
The broken handle (luckily not glass; if not I'd be unable to hide the flaw to escape compensation)Labels: Genting Highlands
