Watched Death Note today and it was a veri nice show. Yokkatta desu!

Watched it myself since it was hard to get people along on a weekday afternoon, and more as I wanted to spend time alone.

Met up with ady at bugis. Reserved a book at kinokuniya.

Reached home at 9.30pm.

Had a good time at the Asian Civilisation Museum (A.C.M.) yesterday night. Been there with the purpose of viewing the special exhibit: "Nalanda Trail," - about the spread of Buddhism from India across to Asia.

Seriously, its alot to remember, with events dating back to early B.C.E., and I ought to have brought along a P.A.P - pen and paper. I would encourage those interested in the area of art & culture to visit it. The last day of this special exhibit is on 23/03/2008. Admission is 10 bucks. Concession for visitors with student pass. I've tried to scheme my way, but they still require proof! Haha. {Note: A.C.M. isn't paying me any commission to promote it =)}

Below picture is not part of the exhibit, but decors of Indochine Restaurant.

Same goes to the below picture, taken at wf's house this afternoon. Wanted to take a photo with wf's siberian husky; it was so huge in size, even bigger than me, such that I have no guts. Have been chased by a stray dog one fine day near my grandma's place in Ceylon Road, which left me panting like a dog after the lightning-speed run to escape a near tragedy. The ice cream on my left-hand served like a baton, as in a relay run.

Met mum for dinner at Bugis. Bought 2 puffs from Beard Papa. Each for S$2.50. Expensive! Then some takopachi balls and korean sausage.

Another off day is gone.

Was back from K.L./Genting the day before. Had 3 nights of shiver. Weather was so cold. Never before in all my trips to Genting. About 14-18 degree celsius. No thicker clothes because I don't expect it to be.
Spent quite alot of time by myself while mum hit for the casino. Sometimes I do cherish spending time alone. To others it may be loner kinda stuff, but I feel it's the time when I can break away from taking into consideration what others may want to do, in Hokkien we call it "eng siew"; own time own target. One can only be at peace when he or she isn't afraid of being alone.

At KLCC

My favourite claypot rice stall in Petaling Street. A fight between 2 vendors occurred over territorial issue; mum took immediate step to shift our place inner to avoid getting hit by the chair from our table that was being thrown. I thought I could see who would be the ultimate winner! Either the furious old lady, or the ungentlemanly old man.
Could only hear the fight quietened; looked as if there wasn't a sole winner after all.

Genting Hotel room 7031; claimed to be a 5-star hotel, but a glance at the window latch revealed some uncleared waste, and an unworkable safe deposit box. Alas, this is Malaysia.

Watched Meet the Spartan at the cinema for MYR11.00; funny movie.

Took this Flying Coaster for RM10.00. Cheap! Saw Genting in its topsy-turvy form but it wasn't thrilling enough for me.

Motion Master - a simulator ride showing don't know what stupid film; extremely retarded till I don't even know it has ended. RM8.00.

This 2-dish mixed vegetable rice costs RM14.95. Fucking expensive.

Took a dip in this heated indoor pool; not a single soul here. Anyway who would come Genting to use the pool, except those non-gamblers? Oh and yes, I went to the gymnasium for a 5-km run and sit-ups for RM30.00. Nice view with cool, crisp air as I opened the window.

Lion dance performace at First World Hotel's centre stage.

I got this Fortune God for RM5.00 from the lion dance troupe.

Passers-by marvelling at a Lamborghini from Singapore. One even knocked on the headlight using his knuckles a few times. Others peered through the windows. What can you imagine if this is Johor?

Genting Hotel's exterior

Me in specs! Just woken up on check-out day.

This cable car left my legs wobbled. Got stuck in the air for a few times; the ropes swung high and low as it stopped suddenly just like air turbulence, and my heart felt like leaping out of my mouth. Sound of don't know what creatures from the rainforest made me all the more irritable.
Flight home by AirAsia was delayed, thank God for only 30 minutes. Nothing uncommon.
Everything's over.

Watched Kungfu Dung on v-day. Nice but a little exaggerating. It's meant to be so anyway.

Watched Sweeney Todd with nb on friday night. Super nice. Cos it's musical - my favourite. Will watch it once more?

Yesterday my right eye was inflammed due to drug allergy. Took Chinese pill (supposedly to reduce heatiness) together with a throat inflammation tablet and sleeping pill. I thought "zhong xi he ping" or eastern-western combination (fusion) was good. But I was so wrong! Spent 42 bucks on private doctor, on a saturday itself. But my very good doctor issued me post-dated mc for sunday and monday at my request.

This means I can overwrite my off day with an mc.

I thought my eye got a little better and so went over to wf's place. Brought along my lonely planet guidebook, because there isn't any book to be found in wf's room. Almost bored me to death the last time. Watched tv and reached home only at 4am.

I'm off to genting today. Will return on wednesday.

Mum kept nagging at my insane idea to take a plane instead of a coach. Kept saying to me: "Tell people, people will laugh at your sillyness!" I thought I was a little brilliant to take advantage of the S$0.00 fare. Of course taxes have to pay - about a little over S$100?

Accomplishment over the past week: Lots of planning for my japan trip in april; and heated argument with vic. BREAK!

Why is it that long weekends are soon gone in a blink of eyes? It's gonna be a new work week tomorrow. Sibeh sian and don't feel like working.

Went WF's house on the eve of CNY. Got a 24 bucks ang bao money from his mum. But that money is gone by now. Watched CJ7 at midnight at great world city before going temple at waterloo street. Warrao eh! The crowd was horrendous and thank God I came out in one piece. Really had to push my way through, if not people will push me off. Somehow I felt imbalanced because I aren't heavy enough. Haha.

Cycled at ecp with ken yesterday. Am totally burnt by the sun. Rode all the way to changi beach and back. Two hours in total. You can imagine how fast I cycled? Till the bike's wheel almost flung out. Okok I'm just exaggerating haha.

All in all did not collect much money this year. In fact every year is the same. Around two hundred bucks in total. Sob sob. Can't even buy me an ipod nano =)

Had been lazy over the weekends. Did not want to go anywhere. No town. No club. Stayed home and budget for my Japan trip. My planning and coordination are at least worth 2k for the trip to be covered lah hor? Haha.

Today wasn't a very good day.

I shall tell you why.

Supposedly planned to cycle on Pulau Ubin, but nb did not pray hard enough which I advised her to, or she heard wrongly and prayed for rain instead.

So we changed to East Coast Park, but after having paid for the bikes and that fellow taking such long hours in the toilet *changing her pads*, it started drizzling.

We cycled nevertheless until I found the rain getting a little heavier, and ended up at the hawker centre having lunch instead.

My aim was to shed some calories, but instead gained more.

While returning our bikes, we saw anne kok and zoe tay filming a jogging scene. So pretty. We wondered if there are actually species on earth wearing nice make-ups and beautifully arranged hair for a jog.

Walking to the bus stop for our return journey, some shitty red substance dropped from the tree onto my shoulder. I thought it was some kind of menses. Thank God it wasn't bird shit. That very good friend of mine could quickly took a million step back without even offering me a tissue paper until I ASKED for it.

I should have stuffed that remains into her mouth.

Reached home and I took painkiller. My headache + spinning head = killing me softly.

Planned to go Bugis to buy some CNY clothings but DID NOT MAKE IT. Her curse was indeed intoxicating.

Now I am spending my saturday night in solitude, at home.
