Returned home and saw sis on msn. She is in tokyo now n told me sakura cherry blossomed since yesterday. Tis means by de time i reach there in 12 april, de sakura oredi die. Hopefulli hakone still has some since it is mountainous.
Tomorrow I shall stay home and accompany mum since she's off. And since now I am more "free" than in de past months.

Went for ntu admission interview yesterday. In fact I find myself a little "ka chern jiu" which means backside itchy in hokkien. In 2006 I went for the interview, was offered a place, yet rejected it for nus. Now I wanted ntu cos it offers 3-year direct honours (nus needs 4 years) and compared to nus, ntu biz school is ranked better.
First question they asked me was "why choose ntu?"
"Why bachelor of biz programme?"
"What module I like most in poly?"
"What biz option I will choose?" I said tourism.
Den the professor asked me: "What is the career prospects in tourism that interest me" and "What is lacking in the tourism sector?"
"I see that you applied for nie as well. What if nus, ntu, nie accept you, how would you make your decision?"
"Besides the tourism option in ntu, have you considered other course offered outside in the market?"
"What if ntu does not admit you?"
"How about smu?"
"Any questions?"
They asked me so many questions in less than 15 minutes. But on overall I felt confident, however, whenever I had this feeling, in the end I do not get the place. Pessimistic? That's my life.
I went polyclinic to get mc for the day, and veri nice dr david ong gave me 2 daes again.
So I went swimming and tanning by the pool earlier this afternoon.
Tomorrow is mid-term test for japanese. I mugged for a few days. Now a little stress. Going sentosa after that.

Today was a dreadful day.
Was on mc so as to attend an interview at MOE HQ at buona vista. Applied for Bachelor of Arts (Education) - 4-year course fully paid by MOE with monthly salary + 4-year bond.
Reached there 30 mins before my scheduled time at 2.30pm.
When I entered the interview room, I saw 3 interviewers. One female principal who shot me lots of questions, one senior male teacher and one human resource female personnel.
Just as I sat down, that female principal bombarded me with:
"I see that you studied biz admin. Why the total switch in your field of study?" I was stunned. This question was what derrick said they will most likely ask. So I answered by saying polytechnic is more practical. LOL. Saying of derrick, I almost rushed to his house to give him a tight slap for saying that I better don't teach cos I'm short and students will climb over my head easily. I got so hot! But what he said was true to a certain extent. Had this very short art teacher in sec 1 whom no one bothered to listen to him. I remembered being slapped by him for turning my classroom into a playground, running wild as we played police n thief, and he took a broom to chase after me and swept it at my legs.
Next question:
"Why do you want to teach?" WHY?? Cos I wanna teach communism. Haha just kidding. Even though I am very much into China's history, but I won't preach communism. So I answered by saying it's my passion? Yucks. I'm lying! Teaching is no longer my passion. Thinking of the long hours of work put me off. And teachers these days no longer have the respect that students used to give in the past.
So which subjects do you want to teach? I said geography and history.
The old lady asked me:
"What about English?" (I thought I said geog and hist?)
I replied: "No, my English only C5 in O level. Don't wanna risk my students' lives."
Den she said:
"But teaching geog and hist need english also."I said: "Well, I can communicate well in english, but just not teaching grammar, verbs etc."
Then she asked again:
"How about Chinese?"What the fuck! My Chinese is even worse off! I got only B3 through hard drilling work and memorising. I can't help in finding an answer, but just laughed off and said, "No, my interest is in geog and history." Initally I wanted to say my Chinese is worse than English.
The stupid HR personnel said
"But geog and hist are heavy subjects."I said because I am a determined person and since they are my interests, it will pose little difficulty. But in fact, I think I will suffer from mental breakdown if I take both subjects, just like how I totally cried while preparing them for 'o' levels. They were super duper heavy! Even when I slept I dreamt of the cold war, long march, hitler blah blah blah.
The HR gal asked another round:
"So secondary or primary track?"I said secondary because I want to teach geog and hist. But primary would be ok so long as I get to teach. (Sounded so desperate right?) LOL. I puked at my response internally. Internal bleeding soon.
The fat guy at last posed a question.
"So you are in the school committee as a monitor? What did you do."I said: "Oh, by maintaining discipline when the teacher is not in class. Outside class helped to organise school events." Earlier I almost blurted out a secret. That is, I don't really care whether my classmates are acting like monkeys or not when the teacher isn't around. Cos I don't wanna be condemned by my classmates.
He asked once more:
"How did you become a monitor?"I said: "Voted by classmates."
The old lady asked the last question.
"So what rank do you hold in ns?"I replied: "Corporal." I almost wanted to say "Corporal ONLY." Imagine if I added the word" only," it would portray myself as someone with very low self-esteem. =x
The whole interview lasted about fifteen minutes.
My gut-feel tells me I have flung the interview cos I wasn't confident enough and I did not feel passionate about it. Wasted my time.

Watched step up 2 at cineleisure the day before, which was good friday. Veri nice.
Had dinner at maxwell market before going to club.
Reached home at 0330.
Could not sleep well and throughout today's japanese class I was kinda stoned.
Went shopping at takashimaya before meeting mum at bugis to go temple.
Bought a trouser from g2000 for 49 bucks.
These days I've been spending money like crazy. Veri scared. I'm like using future money.
Veri stress now cos next sat is midterm exam. I know I'm doing all this unnecessary stress unto myself. Even though it's not a degrees or whatever important examinations, but I wanna get a japanese language proficiency certificate to fight for hospitality jobs in future. The midterm exam will cover lessons taught in elementary 1, elementary 2 and the current intermediate 1 that i am currently enrolled in. All of the past information has already been erased from my memory. Corrupted mind.

Had jap class on last sat as usual. After that met up with ken and wc for dinner and movie at Plaza Singapura. Teeth veri pain cos just adjusted my braces. Finally cleared my worries when I asked doctor when wud my holes close, after I've extraced 2 of my teeth last year. She has just put a band on my teeth to close them.
Watched Rule no. 1. Think it wasn't scary at all. Sian man. Got a couple seated behind us kept talking incessantly. Got so irritated that I changed over to the other side. That bloody bitch had seen before and kept telling his partner wat's gonna happen next! After the movie I walked with head tilted cos we purchased the tickets at last min and got row 1. 1 for ichiban!
On sun met up with kenny no. 2 (I noe 3 kennies in total - not de same as kenneth) to watch waterhorse. Quite a fantasy show and nice.
Yesterday met up with kenny no. 1 to watch hortan. The elephant was so cute and his mission was to protect a dust in which it believes has a life! My goodness. Dust has cost me my otherwise flawless skin. Now become wat ppl say "mor peng." Knn! Is the show trying to let de audience accept dust into our lives and love it? Many of such shows huh. One e.g. was Ratatouiie (was more interesting as well).

Had dinner with ky at Terminal 3's popeye's fast food outlet. My first time and I thought it was great. Better than kfc. The fries were nice and so was the bun.
Walked around and had my hot vanilla at Terminal 2's coffeebeans.
Chatted till 9 plus before returning home.
Today and tomorrow on course. Whole day I've been revising jap notes. The trainer was a newbie so dunno anything. Even confessed to us he really dunno how to some of the functions. Totally turned me off. The company should at least assess the trainer's capability before even sending them on ground.
Knocked off and returned home. Raining whole day again and wonder when will the sun be out. Hate rainy weather. It makes me sad. I rather have a hot and steamy weather.

Seen doc at polyclinic. Requested to see dr. david ong, cos he's good. Gave me 2 days of mc.
Yesterday reached home at 0200. Could have been faster if not for the stupid fat driver who fell asleep halfway through. I was so annoyed. Even when he started driving slowly, I have already suspected him dozing off. I glanced at the rear mirror and saw his eyes were hardly opened!
Me: Uncle, in front turn left and exit bayshore road.
Uncle: (He did not hear me) and continued driving on the middle lane.
Me: UNCLE KEEP LEFT AND TURN INTO BAYSHORE ROAD! (I totally shouted at him and he got a shock)!
I continued scolding: "Don't think I do not know you're sleeping ok! That's very dangerous of you, and your passengers! If you are tired, then go home and sleep!"
Uncle: No I did not sleep! If I sleep how can I even drive???
Me: But I caught you sleeping and you still deny?????
He continued saying he did not sleep, while I continued nagging and nagging.
To the point where I alighted, I still continued saying:-
Uncle, if you're tired, go home and sleep! And he still said the same back to me:
If I'm sleeping how can I drive?????While waiting to get my change back, I had even threatened to lodge a complaint against him.
Initially I planned to threaten him even before we reach, but I was afraid later he did foolish things unto me. Images of him banging his car onto a tree flashed through my mind; or him braking the car suddenly and I would be flung out of the car, or him hijacking and murdering me etc etc.
I finally got off the car and closed the door hard! Hope it will wake him up man!
Oh ya, sky of love is a nice and very touching story. Even had to control my tears. Haha.
Bangkok love story isn't that nice. Too much of a bloodshed.

Earlier this evening went wf's house and slack around. Dabao filet-o-fish set; now de garlic smell cos of de stupid chilli is still in me. Made me bloated. I can't take garlic cos stomach is too acidic, yet I can't resist de chilli.
Tomorrow most probably have to work cos of mobilisation. So fcuking sian!! Unluckili it clashed with de veri first lesson of ma intermediate japanese language class.
Watching two movies on sunday followed by clubbing at st james.
