Today's the last day of 2005. 2005 is one of the most stressful life in poly. more projs, attachment. in 2005, i fulfilled my dream of visiting new york and nigara falls. ny rocks... it's also a difficult year cos i lost a fren, but i found a new frenship as well. every incident is pre-planned by god, so i will learn to take it in my stride.
it is also the year where i got my driving licence. so happy... tot will have to fail numerous times.
later going watch narnia with nb. just now went swimming and tanning. the sun was scorching hot. so glad. now it's raining.
die le 2006 going ns. i hate singapore. but nw i dun dislike the notion of protecting it. cos i see it as protecting a land that God has bestowed on us. God is the Creator. He created land so that we the children can live on it and protecting this holy land that our heavenly father has given us is something we can bring glory to God.
Resolution for 2006.
- pleasure god
- family wellbeing
- awaiting end of attachment. exactly 2 months 26 days left
- hope to secure a place at local university but i know it's near impossibility
- cry on graduation day
- get a diploma
- overseas trip regardless of location
- joyful military life
- that's all i can think of
what now? sleep! tired... happi 2006 all! auld lang syne.
Words adapated from a traditional songby Rabbie Burns (1759-96)Should auld acquaintance be forgot,And never brought to mind?Should auld acquaintance be forgot,And auld lang syne?
CHORUS:For auld lang syne, my dear,For auld lang syne,We'll tak a cup of kindness yet,For auld lang syne!
And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp,And surely I'll be mine,And we'll tak a cup o kindness yet,For auld lang syne!
We twa hae run about the braes,And pou'd the gowans fine,But we've wander'd monie a weary fit,Sin auld lang syne.
We twa hae paidl'd in the burnFrae morning sun till dine,But seas between us braid hae roar'dSin auld lang syne.
And there's a hand my trusty fiere,And gie's a hand o thine,And we'll tak a right guid-willie waught,For auld lang syne
