Second sis bought an ipod nano for my 21st birthday, although my birthday has already long gone. It is quite slim and black in colour. Classy I would say.
But I've got problem figuring how to download songs into the device. It seems that technology and IT isn't my cup of tea. I get frustrated reading the manuals and everything gets so screwed up; my pc table is getting so messy that I have the urge to shove them all onto the floor.
I remembered my days attending web publishing; always sitting beside sh as we shared a book. It was one of the most terrifying modules I have undertaken. My very first HTML test was a disaster. And I was so glorious with my failed grades. Nevertheless, I managed to get a B, of course unexpectedly. I am certain that in future, I will never lay a hand on IT and technology.
Big sis will pay for my airticket instead, one-way to hong kong.
This week will be a long one, because I have to work 8 days straight in a row and will be off duty on tuesday. Tomorrow boss is going to treat us for dinner, together with elderflower. I wonder where will it be. Afterall, since it's a free meal, I shan't complain even if it's a coffeeshop. But having much thoughts, I really do contradict what I feel sometimes. Since we are of Asian origin, we are a conservative lot. So the sentence "it's the thought that counts" really have no bearing on us - the low-down Asians. Instead, "it's the price that counts!"
Surprisingly, I got a positive comment from an Indian customer today. He was at the counter buying a package and after payment has been made, he remarked: "My wife said you provide very good service." I was shocked hearing him saying this, same goes to my who was beside me. I rejected his comments to portray my humbleness. I told sis about this matter, and she said the customer is lucky to not have been scolded by me.
But hey! I provide good service to non-demanding customers alright, and to those sucky customers - don't you dare try to climb over my head! I'll be doubly bad in the attitude that your gave me.
I am worn out today, especially so because second sis and I ran for about 45 minutes covering half of bedok south. Initially we climbed stairs as a form of exercising, but I got bored going rounds and rounds, till it made me giddy. So I pressed for the lift and off we started running from my block across to tanah merah, terrace houses after terrace houses, and to my shock, we landed along a path opposite bedok camp. It was so faraway from home. Sis was cursing me, and swore not to run with me. Finally, we continued our journey home crossing bedok south secondary school and a temple. And of course, the incessant cursing and swearing.
