I'm really tired. Have been awake since 7am yesterday. The internet server was down for the whole day, so we couldn't issue any coach tickets for customers. "Our counter is closed temporarily due to system error. Please check back later after 5pm" was displayed prominently at our counter. Sc even recorded (over our phone) that announcement, saving us the trouble of having to pick up those irritating calls.

Before siti, our new colleague, knocked off at 3.30pm, sc and I left orchard for good at 2pm. Just as we were at Espirit in Wisma Atria, Timothy called to ask where we had been. I was dumbfounded initially, but calmed myself to saying "we just had lunch at newton circus, now walking back."

We did not receive any reprimand fortunately when we returned.

The internet service was reinstated after 6pm and I rushed to complete agent bookings.

After work at 8pm, I met up with yq and later sis at raffles place mrt, and shortly after found overselves indulging in gastronomical delights at lau pa sat. We had stingray, you tiao, 'lala,' kang kong, fried chicken and tonic soup for only 54 bucks in total! It was on sis' account of course, but hey! I've bought 3 glasses of teh tarik ice for 4.50 bucks.

We gobbled as much as we could, but gave up finally as our stomach bulged outward. Until now I still feel like vomitting. Two days ago I read on Buddha's teachings that we should never waste food. But it seems like I'm not practising what the book has preached.

I'm feeling really 'horribly terrible' in my stomach, with those undigested food blocking my esophagus up to the tip. My diarrhoea makes me wanna 'lao sai' anytime.

Few days back while I was in Hong Kong I received a letter from NUS accepting my appeal to enter Business school. I was delighted.

Today I'm off. Perhaps I should decide on the sights worth visiting in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. Mum and I are most probably making a short trip to Vietnam at the end of August. By then I should have quit my job.
