Yesterday was an uneventful day. Upon reaching home after shopping with mum at tm, I went for running around my neighbourhood. It was a mere 30 minutes non-stop of running. After that, I entered the lift, feeling extremely uncomfortable in my eyes and chest. I wondered if it was because I did not warm-up before I started running, and did not cool-down after running. Blood gushed up my brain, my eyes were blod shot, my breathing was almost impossible just like an asthma attack. I walked unsteadily into my room and sat down on the floor, wiping my sweats, at the same time down with runny nose. My whole body started to itch all over. I scratched my head and my back incessantly. It must be due to the work of the prawns I have eaten for dinner. I thought I would be dead, without even having to wait for 080806 to come.
The sensation was terrible. All I thought of was the past. Then this evening I read sc's blog. She had a close shave as well, in which she was almost knocked down by a merc with her 3 packets of chicken rice still on hand. Is it a signal from God? I must be crazy. But both of us had a close shave; spared from a traumatic death and the 'chicken rice stunt.'
When I bathed, I had to even sit on the chair. How damned could this be. After I felt better, my otherwise *sparkling* eyes started to swell into a pair of goldfish eyes. I became worried if I were able to report to work today. I called boss, wanted to ask if I can take mc. But he did not answer. He called back later, and told me to go see a doctor. But since I was all ready for work, I insisted on working instead.
Today's lunch and dinner were on company's account. Ahahaha. But they suck. The beehoon for lunch was soggy, and the fried rice for dinner was also soggy. I wondered what was the chef doing. The lunch was served with green vegetables. Dinner was also served with that same green vegetables, this time stir-fried together with beansprout. I was wondering if the green vegetables served during during was the lunch's leftover. The same fish was also served during lunch and dinner. All the same. Okay enough of my complaining for I got them all free.
Grandma's going shanghai for holiday tomorrow with 3rd uncle and his family. Hope she'll enjoy her time there. Saying of shanghai, I remembered holidaying there when I was in sec 4. The bubble tea costs only 50 cents; tako pachi balls only a dollar for 4. So cheap and good. Just like the mainlanders there. Ahahahahahaha. Just remembered it's exactly two months I've worked for airebus hotel asia today. Another two more months?
