winding through treacherous mountains, waterfalls and avalanche. Clouds were in abundance, and were extremely long. No wonder NZ is also known as Land of the Long White Clouds.
Although called Milford Sound, it is more accurately classified as a fjord. It has been raining and I have to wear a raincoat while trekking into the forest.
We reached Milford Sound for a cruise at 1.30pm. Mitre Peak and Bowen Falls were the highlights, and especially lucky, there were a few rainbows after the rain.
Seals rest peacefully on the boulders, enjoying a cool afternoon. How I wish I were them, carefree and peaceful. We cruised into the Tasman Sea, shared between NZ and Australia.

The water was choppy, and I could hardly manoeuvre without grabbing onto the railings. We returned to Queenstown, driving through the Homer Tunnel cut through the mountains for 1.2 kilometres. It was a one-lane narrow tunnel, just fits the width of a bus nicely.
While at Queenstown's O'Connell Shopping Mall, we stumbled upon some Singaporeans, easily recognised by their Singlish, but never did we say 'hi.' They were on Chanbrothers' group tours, while we were on free and easy.
