On heading back, we bought a few souvenirs before I collected my unspent NZ dollars and changed them back into SGD. The queues at the check-in counter in Christchurch airport were long before we could shop at the airport, and having brunch at the only cafe thereafter.
Destination: Fucking Land
We left the NZ ground at 1.10pm, reaching Singapore ten odd hours later. I never get bored on SIA flight. I managed to watch Poseidon, Thank You for Smoking, Travel and Living, played a few rounds of Super Mario, slept for two over hours, listened to Wang Lee Hom's album before touching down at the fucking land. The DaVinci Code just isn't my cup of tea, so I switched to another channel shortly.
My next trip to NZ is hopefully on a Campervan.
But my driving skills have turned rusty.
