Got home at 2am, fortunately not having to stay overnight outside. A G.E.T. outing? Not completely counted because wc was still stuck in the camp, so unable to make it, and sc - the spoiler for having to go home at ten pm (joking =p).
We went vivo city, which is always packed full of people, before heading for east coast park. Finally got to refresh my otherwise rusty driving skills with the hyundai getz. Hope I did not frighten the rest of you.
The caterer for our barbeque came at about half past five, and after collecting our foodstuff, my realised the man did not give us wire gauze and fire starters. So we called him up, and took from him at carpark c4.
Starting the fire; I thought we would be doomed without wc. But armed with my's printed "mi jue" -
or secret, on the techniques of starting the fire, we managed to did it fast! My first time starting a fire burning haha.
We BBQed away, and our pit no. D36 was such a good spot, with a couple sitting right in front on the beach carrassing each other and kissing away like nobody's business, from daylight till dark, almost 3 hours... Sc and I walked to the front and acted, sitting down near them on the beach. What a busybody we were.
Sh and my picked the forever 'late to knock off' nb from suntec city, so we waited for her to come as if we were waiting for money to fall from the sky.
We presented our lovely brownie cake for the 'soon-to-be' birthday girl, thereafter smashing our "flour + eggs" formula onto nb.
While my and nb stayed behind, sh and I sent sc home, before returning to ecp to pick them up. As we chatted in the car, I came to accept the fact that each and everyone faces one problem or another. It's among many to choose from: family, relationship, work... None can be avoided.
We drove to cineleisure wanted to watch Saw 3, but nb and sh were not allowed for R21 shows. The timings for other movies were too late to our liking.
Without much to do, we drove to our usual nightspot - macritchie reservoir, hoping to 'liak gao,' but without luck.
It was then home sweet home, where I bathed and slept at 4am. Again, I can't manage to sleep well. Perhaps I should change both my mattress and pillows.
Now, it's napping time. zzZ.....
